Us
The role of the Council is to provide maximum
citizen participation in the nomination of candidates; to select fully qualified
candidates prior to each Village selection; and to represent a cross-section of the
community as a whole.
Every two years elections are held in the Village of LaGrange for the
Village Board President, its Trustees, its Clerk, Library Board and Park Board. To
help ensure that the people elected to these local offices are the best qualified among
those seeking office, the Citizens' Council of LaGrange request that the candidates come
before them and discuss their qualifications.
We invite you
to join us if you are:
a resident of LaGrange for at least one year;
a registered voter;
interested in excellent leadership in the Village;
ready to volunteer just a
few hours each month;
interested in learning more about your Village government and its
leaders.
